Definitely the first and I'll tell you why I think so -- "Rule of Thirds" -- generally speaking, photos are more interesting if the subject matter is lined up with an imaginary line dividing the photo into thirds rather than halves. This is true vertically or horizontally or both. Also, in this particular instance, the lower position adds interest and emphasis to the swirly lines below the row of kids, which is very cool. And how it blocks the sun is great! Not sure if you did that intentionally or not (I'm assuming so....) but it is very, very cool. Good job!!!
Thanks, Heather. I had not heard that before. It makes sense, because I know that in gardening and other things, odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye than pairs.Yes, the sun placement was intentional. ;^)
First for sure!
I agree with the first! Neat shot :)
I like the first because the extra sky and the lack of trees helps the airy not connected to the sky feeling.Very cute tho'!
The first.Nice job!! Great silhouette effect.
Yep....first!!!!! You did a great job on this!!!!
Yep - the first shot. Rule of thirds and all that. Even if the trees were cloned out, the first one is better. I love the sun behind the guy on the end! It's a very cool photo.
Looks like it's unanimous. I was also going to mention the Rule of Thirds!
I think I like the lower one because I can see more of the colors of the sculpture. the yellow ballon and dark blue kite stand out more! IMHO
