365/33 Boots

I'm still working on shutter speed.  I'm doing well with stationary objects; we'll see how I do when I'm out and about.  I had to correct the color a bit on this one, though.  I'm thinking I should figure out how to custom white balance next.  None of the pre-sets give me natural color inside my house.  Outside, yes; inside, no.

I did a white balance test before Christmas from a course I did - you take the photos and note what the settings were, put them into a collage and keep it to refer to.

In my living room (the course was aiming at taking Christmas photos) the best colour came with auto. I like the lighting here - and the boots.

I agree with Miss Wookie. The lighting is very natural. Those boots would come in handy come spring around here!

Nice shot! Keep shooting, it will come easier the more you shot!

Sometimes it gets so confusing to me. I have only been taking photos with a GOOD camera for 18 mos and I'm trying to learn the setting and sometimes I just want to set it to auto and forget it, then I'll use my setting and my new flash and get a good shot and feel so proud, that I want to just keep on learning, I love the brightness of this shot.

I love this shot. It is very nice. I like the lines, the color and the use of space. Sometimes I want my camera to be auto too. I would love to do things the easy way, but I love it when I get it right!!! Just wish that was a little more often!

I'm having a lot of fun playing with the settings too. I think you hit the white balance right on in this shot.

I have the same problem. I almost always have to adjust my exposure/lighting with an online program. Bummer, but I'm learning too! :)
